THE STORY: A Josh Ritter lyric kept coming to mind.

Drive East of Eden 'til we start to feel the West.

We were never far from no where

You could see it from the edge of town.

A draft ripped down the Sound, allowing a pair of adult windsurfers to play with sails, boards, and elevation.

Across the rippled Puget Sound, a storm in shades of violet churned through the far mountains, and cruise ship of Alaska-bound tourists slowly made their way north.

The sun settled golden over the Olympic Peninsula, and the neutral density filter allowed by a sunburst and a long exposure to capture the clouds just right.

It certainly felt like the edge of town, that nowhere was close, and you could certainly sense its call if you love a little wildness.
